So I've been riding around not quite street legal for the past couple of days because my brake light switch was out of whack. Apparently a peanut size piece of plastic broke off. My dad, my go to fix-it man, is not a contortionist and couldn't reach it. My brother is four hours away. My sister is barely as handy as I am. However (pat myself on the back) I thought to look it up on the internet and yes, someone has a video about that on youtube. Why I didn't think to look Sunday I don't know. The video I saw was of a Honda, but with my quick mind - thank you Southern Engineering - I was able to use knowledge and a bicycle tire cap to fix the problem.
I do wonder though... unbreakable combs for hair have been around forever, why can't I for buy unbreakable car parts? You need a job with a circus to get under the steering column of a Corolla. I don't want to do that again; eventhough I feel all badass right now.

I spent the entire day doing nothing of any significance and that's exactly the way I wanted it.

I went to the bathroom just before leaving work and when I pulled my pants up there was something lumpy on my booty... Turns out I've had a sock in my pants all day. That wasn't my first time in the restroom. I have no idea why it didn't fall out when I put the pants on or where it hid from 6am until 6pm. Crazy Monday.

I want to watch something good. A good script, a good plot, good actors realistic/fantastic situations. Give my sofa a reason for me to sit on it again.

Bad week actually. A persistent case of blah.
For a cure, I'm reading snarky book reviews at amazon.com. They're always entertaining.

Had a birthday Tuesday and I actually received flowers. From my mom, but considering our family that was astounding.
Why does every book I read lately have a precocious kid with an IQ in the triple digits or someone with psychic or paranomal powers? I don't see the appeal.
